We are dedicated to breeding quality Arabian horses. Most are Straight Egyptian while some are black.
Our mission is to breed kind, correct, usable horses possessing
the classic Arabian “ethereal” beauty.
Phenotype and pedigree as well as disposition are carefully considered in our matings. Stallions and mares are selected not only for their individual strengths, but also for their overall contribution to the herd.
We benefit from the knowledge passed on by my father, Morris Rustebakke, who spent his entire life owning horses. Dad mechanized our family farm in North Dakota when he was 18; prior to that, all the farm work had been accomplished with horses. His lessons were practical. We bred and trained all of our horses and used them not only for pleasure but to work the cattle herd.
M-R, our brand M Bar R, is carried by all the horses bred here, as a tribute to dad.
Now located in south-eastern Wisconsin we are about 30 minutes from Milwaukee, a little over an hour from Madison and just a short trip from Chicago.
